Non-Payment & Water Shut-Off
If your water has been disconnected due to non payment, you will be required to pay an additional $50.00 re-connection fee, along with your past due balance to have services restored. If such charges and penalties are paid prior to 1 pm, service shall be turned on the day of payment. If paid after 1 pm, service shall be turned on the next working day. (Ordinance 86-81. Save on Outside Watering
If you tend to do a lot of outside watering, an auxiliary water meter may be a good investment for you. For a one time investment for a meter and installation, water used through this meter will not have any sewer charge. Find detailed information regarding your meter (PDF).
Backflow Prevention
If you don't want to drink it, don't connect your water system to it. What is the most common form of a cross-connection in your home? Ironically, the ordinary garden hose is the most frequent offender. View more information regarding Backflow Prevention (PDF).
